8 year old red roan. Mr. Jay has been ranched on his whole life up in the Badlands of MT on a 20,000-acre ranch. He knows all aspects of the ranching life. Gathered large numbers of cattle in rough country and through the thick timber of the river bottoms. He crosses water, gets gates, sorts, has had his fair share of doctoring and loading cattle outside, and drug numerous calves to the branding fire. Mr. Jay rides one handed, does flying lead changes, spins both ways, and has a big sliding stop. He's very soft in the face and moves off light leg pressure. He will come running to a whistle out in the pasture and will be the first one to stick his nose in the halter. He is one the whole family gets along with and is in your pocket friendly.
